News of hundreds of Hindus converting to
Christianity has taken Bihar by storm as authorities have now ordered a probe
into the incident. As per reports,
around 500 Dalits have converted to Christianity and remaining Hindus in the
area are facing huge pressure to follow suit.
The alleged conversion took place at Chaugain
village under Dumraon sub-division in Buxur district.
Meanwhile, authorities have promised strict action
against the culprits.
“We have ordered an investigation into the matter.
Action will be taken if it was established that the Dalits were converted under
pressures or offering allurements", Buxur district magistrate Raman Kumar
said.
