Nevertheless to say that Muslim are aggressive in Bharat due to cultural
practices, food habits, external support and internal strength.
Incidences and evidences do describe that minorities can play blood
bath specially during festival season of Ganesh puja and car festival of Jagannath in Odisha.
While people are in festive mood and relaxed a number of incidents were well planned to prove before a sovereign government that they
are neither helpless nor feminine. Masjids are in-variably
located at crowded area of towns and cities of Odisha. Every festival
preferably idol worship followed by Visarjan (immersion) with a
procession of high sounding drum beat, dance, light and dancers were disturbed. These
kind of problems happen when procession passes through narrow
lanes of Masjid. Though the peace committee is being
constituted by administration for smooth execution of festival, but
Muslim considered it as right time to create problem and attacks on
Hindus. Police as well as administration keep quiet to safe-guard the
law and order. On the contrary, the Hindus get offended and blamed at all time to suffice the requirement of police. By today, Muslims have
celebrated the Eid with due protection from police, but during Hindu
festivals police doesn’t consider as a matter of serious issue.
Some days before at the time of car festival in Rourkela, the road
was blocked by the Muslim people citing a silly reason where some one posted a poster depicting Pakistan flag on the body of a pig. Which does
not mean to effect any religious sentiments rather than criticize
Pakistan for some purpose. This is simply anarchist rather than religious.
Also some miscreants had thrown beef on the way Sri Jagannath chariot at Remuna
of Balasore district on 14 July 2016. The person named as Mir Nuruddin of Somanathpur village admitted his crime before police and was
arrested vide case no 121/14.07.2016 at Remuna police station. It shows how external money is induced to make Bharat restless. As Pakistani government
destroying temples and indulging in oppression on Hindus, so also Muslim at
Odisha had started similar things as followed by Pakistan. Intolerant
activities have started at Soro of Balsore district, Pattamudai of
Kendrapara and Rourkela of Sundergarh. Also Basudevpur and capital city
Bhubaneswar has no exception from such issues. Innocent Hindu people are
bearing as if nothing has happened to them.
On Friday, i.e. 9th September 2016, Ganesh Visarjan was stopped in a
small town Soro of Balasore district. While 3-4 Processions of Ganesh
idol with high sounding DJ approaching to Adanga bazaar the
narrow masjid road got jammed. In the mean while, Muslims asked the mass to get
out from the place and asked the public to stop music. As no one was
there to respond them, the notorious play began, one miscreant broke
the lights of DJ, which was owned by Mohammedan people. Soon the so
called minority community started throwing stones. The event happens in
such a way that as if masjid was prepared for the odds and to attack
incidentally. Afterwards 144 section was imposed by the police for the next three
days. Around 20 people were injured few were gravely injured and admitted into hospital. Major injured person include Tutu Kumar Dey, Vijay Singh,
Bhagban Dada and many more. On getting protection from police Muslims repeated the similar kind of attack around 200 away from Soro i.e.
Pattamundai of Kendrapara district. Though Kendrapra is known as Muslim
hub of the state but Soro incident reveals mischievous mind of people.
On 11 sep-2016, Sunday at 10 am Hindu people of Pattamundai started
their Ganesh and Khudurukuni (a goddess of young girl) visarjan
ceremony on the way. As the procession passes scheduled caste , it was
moving in front of the Masjid of that area. Some people came in front of
the procession and stop the procession with no issue in them. Neither procession had halted nor
road was jam, but accident was planned to happen at any cost. Though a
peace committee was made to resolve the dispute, but no one was there to
hear anything. Everybody including police got shocked at the situation, but there was no way to get out of that mess. Stones, broken glass, sticks were thrown at the
public followed by violence. Maximum number of participant in this
procession were girls and women as Goddess “Khudurukuni” is being worship
by girls for wellness of their brothers. Everybody was silent
including police and magistrate. Soon road was vacated and local
administration made the visarjan of two idols on a different way to
nearest water body, in spite of opposing by public. Time to
remember that, discussion and appeasement policy of administration has
gone in vein. Peace committees failed to resolve
such kind of issues. Poor and calm Hindu preferably scheduled caste women came down on
administration, for returning their idols and for which police station
and administration office was crowded. Instead of arresting culprits in
this case police has stopped “Kalash Yatra” in the name of 144 section. Though
no casualties were reported so far but some sections of people are preparing for a next unlawful course, which may prove
fatal for the society. Thus it teaches us for being aware to the
behavior of friends and neighbour.
This sort of event again happens at Rourkela of Sundergarh district during Ganesh Visarjan on Monday, 12th
September, 2016, Now the stage of play was different and
violence was more severe to the extent of inhumanity and intolerance.
The steel city endowed with luxurious procession was attacked
unknowingly as soon as the procession reached at Nala road which populated by Muslim community. It was night time and people could not easily identify the attacker. They destroyed the Ganesh idol. There was no Masjid
and no confrontation was made between two groups. Soon the news was spread into town and small riot kind of situation happened. Some people also
burnt down the vehicle and started throwing stones at different locations.
Time to remember that during July-2016, the car festival of Sri
jagannath was also blocked at middle of the road at same place and asked
police to arrest one young guy accusing him to have posted some picture in Whatsapp which was directly blaming Pakistan not the Islam. Instead of
arresting the attacker, police asked the Hindus to get away from the
conflict. Though series of events were happening at equal intervals of time
neither administration nor police doing anything towards culprits particularly Muslims.
