Mohan Bhagavath urges people to extend a helping hand
to the poor
RSS Sar Sanghachalak (chief) Mohan Bhagavath on Tuesday called upon the entire Hindu community to protect their temples, cows and women in the society and also build “a force” which can give protection to all these important centres in Hindu Dharma.
Addressing Godavari Pushkaralu “Sankalpa Sabha”-Oath taking meeting-a huge gathering at Lalacheruvu Grounds on Tuesday night, Mr. Bhagavath said that the ancient Dharma was only Hindu Dharma and it was the duty of all the Hindus in the society to protect it by doing some most important things daily.
“We have to protect those who are protecting our Dharma and also who are patronising it. At the same time, we have to give Samskar to out next generation by teaching or preaching Hinduism and its great importance in present days,” the RSS chief said.
Mr. Bhagavat asked all Hindus to do a few things daily as part of their routine including going to temples, participating in service activities, book reading, meeting people along with families who are having vast knowledge, ethics and values and extending helping hand to the poor. “This is the aim of this Sankalpa Sabha and not to instigate some one against other one as some people are propagating,” he asserted.
Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam main pontiff Sri Jayendra Saraswati, junior pontiff Sri Vijayendra Saraswati, Swami Paripoornanda of Sree Peetam, RSS national secretary V. Bhagaiah, AP Minister for Endowments Pydikondala Manikyala Rao and former MP U.V. Krishnam Raju and others participated.
Rajahmundry City MLA Dr. Akula Satyanarayana presided over the meeting.
