The government of Telangana is all set to celebrate the Ramzan in 200 mosques spread across the state. For this, mosque committees will
get Rs 2 lakh each for festivities and clothes for distribution to six lakhs poor
Muslims.
Government has already handed over clothes to Mosque Committees
falling under GHMC limits, and the distribution may complete by June 24 in the
districts. Three persons of a poor Muslim family will get new clothes, reaching
2 lakh families.
On June 26, the government will host an Ifthar party in
these mosques, out of these 105 were spread in GHMC limits and rest 95 are in
Assembly constituencies.
On the same day, the Chief
Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will attend Ifthar party at Nizam College ground,
Hyderabad, where 6000 people are expected to participate.
