Okay he did pada yatra.Did he inter act with the slum dwellers? Did he sit in thro commuity hal and bless the porrest of poor daridranarayana. Sir, no more cosmetic sybolic response. The slum dweller, the poor are watching us closely.
what made you think the exercise was cosmetic? Do not those snaps suggest interaction with the crowd or do we need to post video recording of the visit to convince doubting thomases like u ! swamiji visiting slums was itself a big event and mind you the roads leading was jammed with people trying for a cursory glance

Yes he did. He went into 4 homes in the slums. Had an interaction with the slum dwellers even when it was raining. Not one but in two slums...one in fatehnagar and another in chandraya huts...Sir, it would be good to first check before making comments like "cosmetic symbolic response". To add to this, the fact that the sanyasi has to do this is a shame for gruhastas like us..The fact that you look at this as a cosmetic response itself shows that gruhasthas like all of us are sleeping while the sanyasis are having to take up the issues.
