Arani (Tamilnadu) : “The Islamic University in Tirupati is a conspiracy to destroy Hindu culture, temples and pilgrimage centres.
Babar came to Bharat and built a mosque on Ramjanmabhumi in Ayodhya.
Aurangzeb built a mosque near Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Krushna Temple in Mathura.
We will not allow this to happen in Tirupati. If we do not protest against the Islamic University in Tirupati, we may see a mosque near Lord Venkateshwara Temple at Tirupati”, said Mrs. Uma Ravichandran (State co-ordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti).
HJS had organised a protest at Arani town in Tamil Nadu. Leaders of Shiv Sena, Hindu Munnani, BJP, RSS, VHP also participated in this protest. The protest started with devotional songs of Lord Venkateswara sung by Shri Janardan Jiyar Swami who came with 10 devotees.
HJS volunteers distributed pamphlets with details of the subject to passers by. Tamil Nadu TV channels - Sun News, Tanti TV, Kalaignar TV, Jaya TV, Polymer, Makkal TV, Gemini News interviewed Mrs. Uma Ravichandran at the venue.
Press reporters of Dinamalar, Dinathanti, Dinakaran, Tamilmurasu were present too.
