Students at the Hyderabad Central University have demanded the resignation of Vice-Chancellor V.C. Appa Rao, who returned after 2 months to take over his charges after the death of Ph.D scholar Rohit Vemula. Protesting return of VC, the students gheraoed him, during this heated environment, they have damaged the furniture at VC chambers. As soon as the things were escalating police arrived and took control and suggested the VC to stay away from HCU campus.
