“Value based relationships are essential
in our human life. They play a prominent role in identifying our personality
and Indianess. These are the things to be followed in this globalization era. It
is time for us to recollect and reconnect to these values and nurture them with
the roots of our Hindu culture” said, Geeta ji Gunde, All India Mahila Samanvay
Pramukh, in her key note address during Mahila Samanvay workshop in Hyderabad.
Geeta ji was speaking at workshop
organised by Telangana Pranth Mahila Samanvay titled as “Value Based Relationship”
(Family, Work Place and Society) on 17-July-2016.
Over 70 women karyakarthas from
different wings of Sangh attended in this interactive workshop. It was divided
into two sessions, first was on “Importance of values in family system” and second
on “Importance of values in society and necessity to follow”.
Smt. Kanchana, sevika and Smt
Somaraju Susheela gave the introductory speech on the importance of values in
our day-to-day life.
In the first session, Smt. Pothuri
Vijaya Laxmi, a poetic and writer, spoke on the necessity of value based
relationships, importance of encouraging them. She said that running behind
worldly pleasure may not give complete and desired satisfaction.
Later, Dr. Sunitha Ramohan Reddy,
a writer, explained on the importance of values and how to learn and imbibe
them in today’s life from our rich mythological books, which our ancestors
could narrate the same from one generation to other. Unfortunately, today we
are facing the widening gap in connecting them, due to which they are unaware of
the values and culture that already exist in our ancient scripts.
Smt.Anantha Laxmi , Retd Professor
Railway Degree College, speaking in the second session of the workshop
explained on the importance of values in the society and the necessity to
follow them.
Later, Smt. Mounika Reddy, HR and
Smt. Mudigonda Sushma, a software professional, spoke on importance of upholding
the values at workplace. They said it is very key to balance the work and
values, and for that the concepts of humanity, simplicity will help to great
extent.
