Attack on Budha Amarnath yatra on August 13, is very unfortunate and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) is taking
this attack as a challenge to the government and the Hindu society.
Reacting on the attack, the international joint secretary of VHP Dr.
Surendra Jain said that it is a main Hindu yatra, no doubt but it is an
attack on the sovereignty of our nation, too. More than a dozen yatries
are badly injured. It is a matter of relief that there is no casualty
upto now. Administration is taking care of all the things.
Situation in Kashmir is very serious. Firstly, they attacked Amarnath
yatris and now they attacked Budha Amarnath yatra also which is
organized in Poonch and Rajory areas of Jammu region. Now everyone
should make it clear that these blood thirsty Jehadi devils are not
misguided youths. They should be dealt with iron hands. They need no
mercy. They should be crushed like anything.
After Kashmir Valley, now they want the Hindus to evacuate this
region of Jammu also. We started this yatra to stop this plight, we are
succeeded to a great extent, VHP added.
It is most unfortunate that no
big Muslim leader or secular mafia has come forward. It is not the
burden of Hindu society alone to keep the communal harmony. There is a
great unrest in the Hindu society.
We appeal the government to eliminate these elements. Otherwise, it
will send a wrong massage in the Hindus. It is the duty of the Muslim
leaders to come forward and take all measures to put a check on these Jihadies. It is the duty of all stake holders to see that the unrest
among the Hindus may not increase to extreme extent.
