RSS Swayamsevaks Begins Temporary Gou-Shala To Conserve Cattles During Drought At Karnataka

Hubballi. As a part of Drought relief Campaign, RSS Swayamsevaks started a new but temporary Gou-Shala at Gudihala Village, Sindhanoor Taluk of Raichur District in Karnataka. RSS Prant Sah Karyavah Sridhar Nadgir inaugurated the Gou-Shala.


“Tirumala Rao Deshpande, a noted farmer of Gudihala Village, has temporarily donated his farmland for this Goushala. Due to severe drought, hundreds of farmers of North Karnataka districts are facing severe problems to take care of their castles or livestocks. Farmers can bring their cattle here, it will be taken care of with food and shelter till the rainy season begins. They can take back  their Cattle from the Gou-Shala. It will work as a temporary shelter Centre. Its a free service, any farmer can make use of this facility at the Gou-Shala. Meanwhile we appeal Citizens to donate for RSS initiated Drought Relief Campaign”, said RSS Prant Karyavah Raghavendra Kagavad.



RSS Swayamsevaks also initiated Free-Drinking Water supply at several drought hit places of Raichur District. RSS Swayamsevaks initiated FREE-CATTLE FEED Distribution Centre at Ankalagi Village of Kalaburagi District. RSS Swayamsevaks arranged Drinking Water at drought hit places of Mudhol Taluk in Bagalkot District.

RSS appealed the citizens to contribute for Drought relief Fund.
